This Privacy Policy explains how Hampton Ventures LLC ("Hampton Ventures", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects information in connection with the Perk Planner website and mobile application (collectively, the "Service").
Perk Planner is designed to need as little information about you as possible. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Account information. When you create an account we store your email address and a securely hashed version of your password. We never store your password in a readable form.
Information you enter about your cards. This includes which card products you have added, an optional nickname, the month and year you acquired a card, an optional last four digits, and optional owner labels you create to organise cards within your household.
Benefit activity. Records of the benefits you mark as used, amounts used, hotel night bookings and stays, membership enrolments, benefits you choose to hide, and any notes you add.
Notification tokens. If you enable push notifications, we store the push token issued by your device along with the device platform and an optional device name, so we can send reminders. We also keep a log of reminders sent to avoid sending duplicates.
Subscription status. If you subscribe to Perk Planner Pro, we store your subscription status, the product purchased, the renewal or expiry date, and whether the purchase was made in Apple's production or sandbox environment.
Technical logs. Our servers keep operational logs that may include IP addresses, request paths, and timestamps. These are used to operate and secure the Service.
We do not ask for or store full credit card numbers, card expiry dates, security codes, or online banking credentials. Perk Planner does not connect to your bank or card issuer, and it cannot see your transactions or balances. All benefit tracking is based on information you enter yourself.
We do not receive your payment details. Purchases are processed by Apple, and we never see your card number or billing information.
We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not sell or rent it to anyone.
We use a small number of third parties to operate the Service. Each receives only what it needs to perform its function:
We keep your information for as long as your account exists. You can delete your account at any time from within the app, under Settings.
Deleting your account permanently removes your account record, your cards, your benefit usage history, your owners, your subscription record, and your notification tokens from our database. This cannot be undone. Operational logs and backups may retain some information for a limited period before being overwritten.
Deleting your account does not cancel an active subscription. Because subscriptions are administered by Apple, you must cancel it separately in your Apple ID account settings.
Passwords are stored using industry-standard one-way hashing. Traffic between the app and our servers is encrypted in transit. Access to our production systems is restricted. No system can be guaranteed completely secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.
The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete the personal information we hold about you. Account deletion is available directly in the app. For any other request, contact us at the address below and we will respond within a reasonable period.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
